O mnie.png

My name is Paweł.

I graduated both philosophy and music. Privately, I am a husband and a father to two incredible kids. My passion is cinema.

Even though watching movies is my addiction, I never thought I would be the one making them. It’s hard to say whether it’s a coincidence or fate. One thing is certain – it couldn’t be better.

Why? Because I love the time spent with the couple. Laugh, tears of emotion, talks, the moment in which we get to know each other.

Each couple is different emotions, different sensitivity, different story. That’s why time spent together is one, but creating your wedding tale is a whole new challenge each time. If you would like to better know me, please contact me.

My favourite films

“Tell me your three favourite films and I will tell you what you are” – I don’t know how much truth is in it, but if you want to know more about me, here are my top three cinematographic works

Portrait of a Lady on Fire

This film is poetry – reflective, but expressive and the same time, melancholic, but without getting maudlin. Quiet, focused on sideways glances, delicate gestures. It reveals a world full of subtlety, world of women. A thriller, melodrama and love story in one. Beautiful pastel colours enhance the impression of communing with pure poetry. But despite it’s all etherealness it hit me with uncommon impetus, broke into me and does not seem to let go anytime soon.

Mad Max: fury road

2700 cuts, guitarist playing flamethrower, a pursuit in majestic sandstorm – one daring idea chases another and that’s how it looks like for entire film. Action, madness, roars of engines and the smell of gasoline. Total cinema – sit down, buckle up, and after two hours of a spectacular ride nothing ever will be the same. I feel like that every time I watch Fury Road.

“How can you not be romantic about baseball?” – this sentence can be heard a couple of times during film. And “romantic” is what this film is about – we don’t have to stick to the rules and follow beaten tracks, even if our behaviour can seem a romantic errant to everyone around. But is it not true, that exactly those hopeless daydreamers are changing the world? And make no mistake, this film is not about baseball. The sport is just a background to a greatly written story, very convincingly played by Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill, which gets me every time I watch it.
